Leda and the Swan

'Leda and the Swan' is the myth about Zeus transforming himself into a swan and seducing the beautiful Leda who eventually slept with him. It is said that from this union, she produced two golden eggs.

I found the illustrations and sculptures depicting this myth very passionate and love the idea of the bird-man/god making love with a human woman.

These pieces are fired in an electric kiln and mounted on the wall (in three places).
