Forest dwellers is about the company of three species living perfectly in harmony. The piwakawaka (fantail) is the guardian of the forest, the one who welcomes you into her bossom. The kereru (woodpigeon) represents abundance and watchfulness and the deer represents gentleness and psychic perception. She is aware of all movement, sounds and even thoughts, possessing the ability to see futher than the naked eye.

Painted in acrylics on canvas.
